“Turnabout Patchwork. Simple quilts with a twist” is all about playing with blocks – making a block, slicing it up, and turning or repositioning the pieces to make a completely different block (sometimes two smaller blocks) to yield endless quilt tops.
Do you need a quick project that doubles up as a great handmade gift? What about these 2 projects?
As we’re getting closer to Christmas both projects are perfect to give away.
You can use your favourite fabric for this or fabric scraps or even use some old denim jeans.
Have fun!

I love the minimalist look of my Shells quilt. You can make this quilt in a weekend easily.
Sometimes you only need to use half square triangles and use the fabric print to do most of the work. Stripes are great for this. Chunky stripes look great but finer stripes are great too.
You’ll find Shells and the 3 other patterns in this block in Turnabout patchwork.
