This is an experimental block I created using the 4-at-a-time technique to produce four half-square triangles, using ten fabric strips for one of the squares.
You can easily adapt this technique to use a different number of strips. It’s an enjoyable and creative process!
How I made this block
This tutorial creates four Half-Square Triangles (HSTs) that can be arranged in various configurations to form unique blocks. Each block is capable of producing one or more quilt layouts.
Block pieces
The tutorial delivers four distinct pieces that can be configured into various layouts, resulting in unique quilt designs:
Block assembly
You can arrange the four pieces in very different layouts to make a quilt.
