Today I’m going to demonstrate how sewing a fan isn’t that difficult.
My fan is 9″ x 9″ and it’s pieced traditionally. The large size of the block makes sewing curves easier.
The block is part of my new pattern called “Wheels”. It’s a modern quilt. I enjoyed making this quilt very much.
The quilt is fat quarter friendly and I actually used a fat quarter pack I got from Michael Miller and this.
The quilt has 8 fan blocks arranged into 2 large circles.
This is how you make the fan blocks:

Some fabric recommendations for making this quilt with prints.
Coco fat quarter pack by Michael Miller in browns, greens, blues and greys would make a great quilt.
