How to make a Four X star quilt block?
The video demonstrates how to make this very easy Four X star block.
Note: there’s one mistake in the measurements given. The white and red fabric squares are 3 1/2”, the rest are cut at 2 7/8”.
Use strong contrast between fabrics for best results.

- Quilt technique: traditional piecing or foundation paper piecing
- Skill level: Confident beginner.
- Fabric collection: I made the quilt on the cover from my old stash but I designed with Moda Farm Fresh collection in mind and the main diagrams use that fabric collection. This collection has very suitable black and white fabrics, even acqua that will make a beautiful quilt.

You have THE BEST quilt piecing videos! And I’ve been watching such online for a long time.
THE best. Awesome editing, absolutely completely showing all steps – even to showing peeking to be sure points and seams match right for pinning & sewing.
I so much appreciate the lack of droning explanations and slow piecing!
Brava!
