Accordion quilt pattern – Turnabout patchwork

I wrote this pattern for my book Turnabout Patchwork, but there was an editorial decision at the last minute to shorten the book and remove 3 chapters.

“Accordion” belongs to the chapter “Triangle in a Square,” and since I bought the rights to my book back, I’ve been releasing individual chapters as digital downloads. And now, I’m releasing also the 3 chapters that didn’t make it to the book.

Turnabout Patchwork is out of print, though you can still get copies as of August 2023.

The finished quilt will measure 37″ x 48″ and is designed to fit a crib.

When it comes to making this quilt, you have two options. You can use templates and traditional piecing to assemble the blocks. Alternatively, if you prefer foundation piecing, the pattern includes templates for that method as well. This way, you can choose the technique that best suits your quilting style.
