If you’ve never done English paper piecing or EPP these are two easy projects you can try.
Cobblestones
Each octagon has a side that measures 1″ and the squares are 1″ x 1″.
- Print the Cobblestones template (PDF)
Hexies pincushion
The hexagons are 1 1/4″.
- Print the 1 1/4″ hexagons (pdf). You will only need 8 templates.
How to make these 2 English paper piecing (EPP) projects
These projects are perfect to do while travelling, camping, in front of TV or at any other time.
These are beginner projects.

How would you remove the paper or is it left in and therefore you would never wash the project.

Rita, one you have your finished piece you remove the paper. That’s why I punch a hole in it. It’s easier to remove with a knitting needle or a crochet hook.

Hi Judy, I use printing paper most of the time. You can use card stock to print as well and reuse the shapes.
