Block 24 – Three by two quilt block – Mysteries Down Under quilt

This is the 24th block in the Mysteries Down Under quilt.

This week block is also called rail fence. It’s a quick and easy quilt block perfect for a beginner. Make a quilt in a day with this block and choose from one of many possible layouts.

After this block we’ll take a short 2 week break from the quilt for the Christmas holidays.

But stay tuned, I’ll still release other video tutorials including a compilation of the 3 most popular of 2018 videos.

“Turnabout Patchwork. Simple quilts with a twist” is all about playing with blocks – making a block, slicing it up, and turning or repositioning the pieces to make a completely different block (sometimes two smaller blocks) to yield endless quilt tops.

  2. Oh, I will! Getting my sewing room ready. Fabrics are all in order.
Question is, which pattern/quilt do I make first? Or, shall I start at the beginning? LOL
