I love this. I make a lot of cathedral window quilts. Question though……..there is no mention of what the backing is or looks like. Is there a backing?

Hi Teresa Love this latest video! Thanks so much for all your ideas. I can’t wait to try this but have recently broken my right wrist so that won’t be for a while. As I loathe hand sewing, I am wondering how I could machine sew the sections back while they are still separate triangles. Do you think this would work? Many thanks, Margaret

I used this fabric manipulation on a quilt a while ago like a regular block. It only had one windmill. Having 4 makes the seams really bulky and it’d be hard to sew with batting and backing. I would use it without batting and just backing.

Thank you. Certainly you can do the sewing beforehand. It’ll probably be easier.
