Today we make the block 54-40 or Fight that, together with snowball from last week, makes our Tennessee Waltz quilt.
Apparently the 54-40 or Fight block a US historical name from 1844 based on political opinions and controversies.

Hello my favorite quilt pattern person. I have seen the video and I also have the book. Recently in fact today I finished a quilt with one of your blocks that I have done in past years. I looked back on youtube most of your blocks I have tried and I have positive results. Nobody makes a video or quit as much fun as you. Keep it comingð Photo of sunflower quilt. Diana

I highly recommend the specialty rulers (Peaky/Spike Marti Michelle, VBlock (Studio 180) or Tri Recs) They are inexpensive and will provide a lifetime of accuracy and frustration free quilting in making this terrific block.
