The Tiny quilt has 9 blocks 3″ x 3″ blocks assembled with sashing.
I made all the blocks with foundation piecing. In such small sizes it’s a lot easier to get an accurate block that using traditional piecing.
I normally use regular copy paper but in small sizes it can be a bit thick. You can use special paper for foundation piecing if you prefer.

Is there a recommended fabric requirement if I want to make all the blocks coordinate? I’m trying to decide between random scraps or using 3 or 4 fat quarters for the blocks

I don’t have any recommendation for it but 4 FQ and a background fabric is plenty. I used more than 4 fabrics because I was working off some of my small fabric scraps. But I made sure I had the same background and the pink fabric with small red triangles in several blocks to give it a more cohesive look.
