Stretched stars is a very easy do make quilt.
It’s also perfect for fabric scraps.
How to make a Stretched stars quilt block
This method “wastes” a bit of fabric but it doesn’t need to, you can make a half square triangle at the same time with the excess fabric and use it on another quilt or use the HSTs on the back of the quilt.

Love this pattern. Going to be making 2 of them in the next few months. They are going to be used as “best wishes” signature blocks for my two grandsons wedding.
