Video tutorial: one minute hourglass block or Quarter Square Triangle (QST) the quick way

With this tutorial you will make 2 hourglass blocks or Quarter Square Triangles (QST) in no time.

You only need two 5 inch squares in contrasting fabrics or four if you want to make 4 blocks as shown on the photo above.

I used 5 inch squares but this block can be made in any size, large or small. Just add 1 1/4 inch to the side of the QST you want to obtain. For instance if you want to do two 5 inch hourglass blocks, cut two 6 1/4 inch squares.
