Turn your leftover fabric strips into a striking quilt with this easy strip-pieced triangle technique. In this tutorial, you’ll sew strips together to make a 4″ high unit, cut it into equilateral triangles, and arrange the triangles in alternating directions to create a dynamic design with plenty of movement.
Each triangle finishes at 3½”, making this a perfect scrap-busting project. Add a few triangles whenever you have leftover strips from other quilts, then keep building until you have enough for a quilt in any size. It’s an ideal long-term project that grows one strip at a time.
