How to make a Spiderweb quilt block

For quilters seeking for a confident beginner-friendly project, this simple spiderweb octagon quilt block is the perfect project.

This block has strips of fabric giving the illusion of a simplified spiderweb.

The fabric is typically cut into strips and stitched together.

Foundation piecing paper

I printed my templates on to freezer paper for this demo but you can use just regular copy paper or even special paper for foundation piecing if you prefer.
