quilting

I’ve got a plan!

After careful consideration and evaluating different options, I have decided on a hybrid solution.

I will continue posting on YouTube but limit my uploads to once a week.

Additionally, I have created a Patreon account where I will offer exclusive weekly videos and extra benefits.

Allow me to explain further.

Patreon is a membership platform that enables creators to earn a regular income directly from their fans or supporters. It operates by allowing creators to establish different membership tiers with varying benefits or rewards for each level.

It operates by allowing creators to establish different membership tiers with varying benefits or rewards for each level.

Fans or supporters can then choose their preferred tier and pay a monthly subscription fee to access those benefits or rewards.

This approach allows creators to have a more stable and predictable income while fostering a dedicated community of supporters.

My Patreon will be structured as follows:

Tier 1 – USD 3/month:

  • One exclusive weekly video.
  • Templates that feature on my new video tutorials that I sell through Etsy can be downloaded for free.
  • 10% discount on purchases from my Etsy shop.

Tier 2 – USD 5/month:

  • One exclusive weekly video.
  • Templates that feature on my new video tutorials that I sell through Etsy can be downloaded for free.
  • Free yearly QAL (Quilt Along) pattern.
  • 20% discount on purchases from my Etsy shop.

Tier 3 – USD 8/month:

  • One exclusive weekly video.
  • Templates that feature on my new video tutorials that I sell through Etsy can be downloaded for free.
  • Free yearly QAL pattern.
  • A new small quilt pattern every month.
  • Personalized feedback on quilting projects.
  • 20% discount on purchases from my Etsy shop.

If you’re interested, you can join the waiting list to receive a notification when I officially launch.

Thank you for your support!

  1. I am thinking that each tier will be a different “enrollment” cost, which sounds quite reasonable. So happy you have found a ‘solution’ for this situation. I’m on the list!

  2. I really enjoy and have learned from many of your videos. Even was gifted your book. However when it comes to subscribing for a fee, I am not going to do that because I will not put my credit card info over the internet. I have had identity theft more than I care to enjoy. So sorry you have had the bad experience with YouTube.

  3. I love your videos, short, quick and easy to understand. I look forward to learning a quilting tip or two every time I watch one. Classical music is a bonus!!

  4. Wishing you the best of luck in your endeavor. Unfortunately I will not be joining. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us over the years. Unfortunately many of the YouTube channels that I have been subscribed to for many years are opting for the membership option. Quite honestly given the ZAR to US$ exchange rate I cannot afford to join any of them.

  6. Teresa,..still thinking about your offer. It depends how much these Tier’s cost. I’m mid 80’s on an aged pension, and with the cost of everything these days, I’d have to think about joining……but will still continue to consider Thank you, stay well, Elizabeth

  7. Looks like a good solution to your problem. Am I correct in thinking that the USD cost posted is a one time fee? I am thinking that the TIER 3 will be best for me.
