This quilt started as a mystery quilt project.
The quilt is a skill builder but it’s easy enough that you can start easy and continue to build on your previous knowledge.

Assemble the blocks of the Mysteries Down Under quilt
Ok, let’s put the blocks together and add the border to finish the quilt.
My book Turnabout Patchwork
“Turnabout Patchwork. Simple quilts with a twist” is all about playing with blocks – making a block, slicing it up, and turning or repositioning the pieces to make a completely different block (sometimes two smaller blocks) to yield endless quilt tops.

Hiya Teresa,
I’ve been going back over my posts and seem to have lost the ones for blocks 1, 2 and 3.
Would it be possible to send them again?
Sorry to be such a nuisance.
Regards, Janet. X

Hi Janet, I can’t send you the posts as it’s an automatic process that happens only when the post becomes public. You shouldn’t find the post on this list though https://mypatchwork.wordpress.com/category/mysteries-down-under-quilt/

The mystery down under quilt is so delightful. What is the background? Looks like satin. Very very nice.

Hi Emma and thank you. The background is quilting cotton. I mixed different creams but my favourite is Moda Bella Snow.
