Easy New York Beauty quilt block

With sharp triangles and circles, many of you may be thinking this block looks quite challenging.

Don’t fret; foundation piecing is here to save the day—especially for those tricky pointy triangles!

And be sure to gather plenty of pins, as they will make sewing the circles much simpler.

How to make a New York Beauty block

This video runs a bit longer than my usual two minutes, but I wanted to thoroughly demonstrate the paper piecing process so you feel confident enough to give it a try.

Mastering paper piecing is incredibly rewarding. Once you grasp this technique, no block will seem too challenging! Enjoy the journey of creating beautiful quilted patterns.

    1. Do you find that’s the case? Maybe you should use a shorter stitch. In my case I find the paper comes out easily. I kind of pull in opposite directions from the stitching line and it breaks.
