By using half square triangles you can make any number of quilts, the sky is the limit.
There are many ways to make half square triangles, some are quicker than others, some result in lots of bias seams, others don’t. The best thing is to try a variety of methods so you can find what works for you.
So today we’ll try a very common way to make 8 HSTs at once.
Also we’ll learn hot to make a classic: broken dishes. Today’s broken dishes block is 6″ finished.

First I want to thank you for your videos, they are very informative and helpful. On this latest one, the “valentine Flower” though I thought it would be easier to piece the heart flower section by cutting 1 pink rectangle, 1 pink square and 1 white square instead.to achieve the same visual shape.
