Video tutorial: Dresden plate and spool quilt block

Dresden plate is a traditional quilt block. My version has 16 plates.

My video shows how to assemble a full flower but you can assemble it in quarters and then come up with different layouts. You can see them at the end of the video.

The Dresden plate is topstitched to a fabric square larger than the plate.

Spools is a popular classic block.
