Love your Tut’s! I’ve been quilting for centuries, but love the way you play with the old, simple blocks and make them fun! Especially for charity quilts, a simple background and a big fun applique is a quick happy project

Simple and straightforward! Thank you, Teresa! Can you please tell me… which direction do you press the two seams joining the three 1 1/2″ x 42″ strips? Open or to the side? ❤

Jeanne I always press my seams open if I can, otherwise I press towards the darker fabric.

Love your tutorials – I learn best by watching. No talking is fabulous and your demonstrations are so good, words are unnecessary. I receive all your tutorials.

I like this. It’s a nice, quick easy way to make multiple HST’s and still get a variety of colors blocks. I have used some multiply HST’s tut
that are quick but result in same colors blocks only.
Thanks for sharing the difference.
