You may find that if you cut your strips at 2 1/2 inch intervals, the last strip will be less than 2 1/2 inches. You can see that on the video. That’s because the half square triangle is 9 1/2 inches square not 10.
That doesn’t affect the end result. Just sew the narrower strip with a scant 1/8 inch seam allowance to compensate a bit.

I love the look like a diamond between. It’s very Native American looking. I live in the desert southwest of America, it would be so pretty on the back of the couch. I have a buzz saw started that is raspberry and green. Thank you for the 2 tutorials
