How to make a Sliced square in a square block

This block is quite versatile. Its asymmetry means you can rotate and rearrange the units in multiple ways to create very different layouts. It’s the kind of block I like most because small changes in direction can completely shift the overall design. The results range from modern, graphic layouts to more traditional quilt looks.
