Quilt borders are key to giving your quilt a polished, balanced look.
The secret is to match the border width to the block size, creating a harmonious and seamless design. In my tutorial, I’m using two 6″ blocks—a Windmills from Amsterdam block and a Flying Geese border.
Since they’re the same size, you can easily add a Flying Geese border around the quilt without needing to adjust the dimensions.
For the corners, you can keep it simple with plain squares or mix it up with another block for added interest.
