This cozy quilt can be made using the traditional piecing method or the foundation piecing method. You’ve got options!
Foundation piecing can be intimidating for some quilters, but I always say, just watch my tutorials and follow along without overthinking it.
Foundation piecing ends up using a bit more fabric compared to regular piecing, about 10% to 25% more. However, with some practice, you can minimize the amount of fabric left over.
If you give this method a try, make sure to cut your pieces big enough so they don’t end up too short. That way, you won’t get frustrated.
