About the quilt
This hexagon sampler quilt is a true beauty, and the best part? No Y seams required! 🙌 It’s perfect for confident beginners and intermediate quilters who are looking to expand their piecing skills with traditional techniques.
With 48 hexagon blocks, including 11 unique block types and 8 half hexagon blocks, the finished quilt measures a cozy 60″ x 59 ½”. Each hexagon block comes together at a finished size of 7 ¼” x 8 ½”, creating a stunning visual effect.
Not only is this quilt project a fantastic way to use jelly rolls and fat quarters, but it’s also a great opportunity to try out your 60-degree ruler. Don’t worry if you don’t have one; we’ll show you how to use a square ruler with 60-degree markings or the template provided in the pattern.
Our comprehensive 11-page pattern includes detailed diagrams, written instructions, and links to two helpful video tutorials on making hexagons. The video tutorials will guide you step by step, making the process a breeze.
