I’m making this quilt right now using traditional piecing. I would consider myself a confident beginner, but it is a challenge to exactly match points as you put the sections of each block together. (maybe because the triangles are bias cuts) It’s a fussy process, but it’s coming together & will be beautiful. 🙂 Excited to quilt it!

Happy to hear you’re enjoying the process. I guess when I rated the skill level for this quilt I was thinking of the paper piecing method. You may find starching your fabric well be for cutting will make the piece less likely to stretch.

You can actually use the Accuquilt dies for this block though the pattern doesn’t mention Accuquilt at all.
