I enjoy your videos, but for this one I must comment….First off, never do a cross over with your hands while rotary cutting. It is dangerous. I am sure you did it that way just for the video, so let’s rind viewers not to cut this way….Secondly if you want to preserve your mat, use only your ruler. If you keep cutting on the same measurement line, the mat will develop grooves that won’t self heal….and grooves mean dull rotary cutter blades… Just my two cents worth. Great tutorial.
