This is the third tutorial in the series exploring hexagon layouts. And with this one I’m giving hexagons a rest! There’s more to explore that’s for sure and I’ll come back to it.

Download a 60 degree triangle template (pdf) or learn to cut 60 degree triangles with your regular ruler.
If you plan to cut at 60 degrees a lot you may consider investing in a 60 degree ruler.

I love the placemat! So pretty. It looks very hard and intricate but you make it look so easy, and with only 3 pieces of fabric. Thanks for sharing the tute and video and the many different patterns..
