  5. Do you press the seams open, or to the side? The bulk to the side is horrendous but so many say never press the seams open?

    2. I may be wrong here but with modern sewing machines and all the stippling I do on my quilts I don’t see the point in pressing to one side. Maybe I’m missing something.
