We’ve reached the final step of the Hearts in Bloom Quilt Along — the finishing stage! 💕
With all your blocks complete, it’s time to turn them into a finished quilt top. The Hearts in Bloom pattern includes a detailed assembly diagram to help you lay out your blocks in the correct order, along with step-by-step directions for adding the sashing that ties everything together beautifully.
Once your quilt top is assembled, follow the pattern’s clear instructions for cutting your batting and binding, and for building your quilt sandwich. You’ll also find guidance on quilting the layers together — whether you prefer simple straight-line quilting, a meandering free-motion design, or something completely your own.
Take your time with this stage and enjoy seeing your quilt come to life — it’s always the most satisfying part of the process!
When your Hearts in Bloom quilt is finished (or even if it’s still in progress), don’t forget to share it with #heartsinbloomqal and tag @teresadownunder. I can’t wait to see everyone’s finished quilts blooming in their own unique way! 🌸✨
