Welcome to Week 3 of the Hearts in Bloom Quilt Along! 🌟

Our quilts are already blooming with hearts, and this week it’s time to add a little sparkle with the Sawtooth Star block. This classic design brings a crisp, structured look to balance the softer heart shapes we’ve made so far.

Traditionally, the Sawtooth Star is pieced with flying geese, but in this version, we’re keeping things simple with half-square triangles. It’s beginner-friendly, easy to line up, and still gives that beautiful star effect we all love.

Play around with colour placement—contrast makes the star shine, while softer tones blend beautifully with the surrounding blocks.
