Mini hearts block – Hearts in bloom QAL

Welcome to Week 2 of the Hearts in Bloom Quilt Along! 💕

Last week we kicked things off with the Heart Petal block, and this week we’re adding another sweet design—the Mini hearts block. On its own, it has a clean, geometric look—but place it on point and suddenly four little hearts appear, one in each corner.

It’s a block full of charm —quick to sew, beginner-friendly, and a lovely way to sprinkle more heart motifs into our quilt. Together with last week’s block, it starts to bring out the playful “blooming” effect of the design.

Sew up two of them, rotate them, and you’ll see the hearts come alive—it’s quilting magic in the simplest form.
