
Jolly Holly QAL
This is the opening tutorial for the Jolly Holly Quilt Along. Yay!
We’re starting preparing the crumb quilted piece we’ll need for the tree block.
The crumb-quilted piece should be in whatever color you fancy. I went for the classic green, but the other colours are just as cool.
So let’s figure out how to do some crumb quilting!
The initial section of this tutorial will guide you in creating a stunning crumb quilting masterpiece, essentially allowing you to create your own unique “fabric” for the project.
For the dimensions of the crumb quilted piece required for this project, please refer to page 2 of the pattern.
For those who aren’t part of the QAL, or for those who are in the QAL and curious, the second part of this video will demonstrate how to make a cool tote bag with the crumbed piece.
