
Time to take your fabric scraps out!
This is my take on the traditional wedding ring block, done in an improv fashion.
I used the ring template (available for free download) – as a stabiliser.
To create this block, use a combination of strips and triangles as you work around the ring. Then, sew the curved pieces to the ring. I experimented with using fewer pins around the curves for one of the pieces, and it worked fine. However, if you’re unsure, use as many pins as you need to feel comfortable.
