
With turnabout patchwork the same set of fabric pieces are rotated and rearranged to make multiple quilt blocks.
With just a few fundamental blocks, you can use this technique to create a vast range of designs.
Normally squares or rectangles are the building blocks for this technique but in this instance we’ll cut across the diagonal with spectacular results.
As you can see this simple technique produces beautiful, elaborate quilts with designs that are visually pleasing and appear to be far more complex than the initial collection of fabric pieces.
