How to make a Cathedral window quilt

Cathedral window quilt

In my video tutorial, I’m excited to show you how to create a full mini quilt, not just a single quilt block. This mini quilt is a bit different because it consists of just four squares in total.

I’m mentioning this for a good reason.

It’s crucial to understand how this quilt comes together because it’s not your typical quilt with lots of separate blocks.

It’s a bit of an outlier in the quilting world.

When you’re working on this project, you won’t be assembling traditional quilt blocks. Instead, you’ll be steadily adding background squares in rows, then adding another row of background squares. Finally, you’ll finish it off with those gorgeous print fabric squares, do some folding, and there you have it – your charming quilt is ready.

It’s essentially the same concept as making my mini quilt demo, just scaled up to create something much bigger and just as wonderful.

So, follow this distinctive approach, and you’ll soon have a beautiful, larger quilt to be proud of.
