With its simple yet elegant design, the Heart block is a delightful addition to Floracotta. Its large pieces lend themselves well to experimenting with different fabrics and color combinations. You can create a striking contrast between the heart shape and the background fabric, or opt for a more subtle, monochromatic look. The possibilities are endless!

If you’re new to foundation piecing, don’t worry! The Heart block is an excellent block to learn this technique. Foundation piecing involves sewing fabric pieces onto a paper or fabric foundation, resulting in precise and accurate blocks. It may sound intimidating at first, but with a little practice, you’ll soon be stitching up beautiful Heart blocks effortlessly.
