  1. . I may not look at the posts for 3 or 4 days, but then I sit down and look. I enjoy each and every one of them. Thank you for your time.

  2. I have likewise just recently found your utube videos. They are the best ever. Thank you so much for all the great ideas. I have tried several of them and just can’t wait to do each one. Maybe I will get all my fabric used up. Ha!

  3. Your site has brought back some of my fondest childhood memories. Each winter and some springs I was blessed that my grandparents sent a bus ticket for me to visit them in their mountain home. Those are the times that have filled my heart abundantly and instilled a special kind of comfort that comes from the smell of fabric, the gentle rhythmic hum of a sewing machine. With time and patience comes warmth and a comforting weight (much like a hug) that lends a special attachment that comforts through happiness, sadness, sickness, health and so many of life’s special moments from picnics, beach trips, cuddling with a good book or movie – I guess what I’m saying is a quilt quickly becomes more than just a blanket, it becomes part of your life story and memories. Which brings me to why I’m writing. My grandmother quilted for many years and made many beautiful heirloom quilts. For the short while I spent with her she taught me the basics of quilting, but we never had time to finish a full quilt top together, sandwich or bind a quilt. Grandmother has since passed, and oh how I miss her dearly. I stumbled upon your site this morning while continuing my search for someone who is pleasant and easy to learn from. Your tutorials are wonderful, they’re easy to follow along with and give me the confidence and information needed. I really believe with your help I might actually be able to make my first quilt.

Thank you for helping others like me learn to quilt.

  4. Hi, I’m looking for the tutorial on Doubly Striped Half Square Triangle Block. Is that still available on-line and if not is there a pattern?
