Triangles and hexagons with fabric strips video tutorial

I enjoy playing with 60 degree triangles and I also like playing with fabric strips. When you combine both things together you get really interesting quilts.

Check it out.

If you intend to make a lot of 60 degree triangles, I’d recommend investing in a ruler such as a Clearview 60 degree triangle ruler. But before you do that you may want to try using a 60 degree ruler template (pdf).

My book Turnabout Patchwork

“Turnabout Patchwork. Simple quilts with a twist” is all about playing with blocks – making a block, slicing it up, and turning or repositioning the pieces to make a completely different block (sometimes two smaller blocks) to yield endless quilt tops.
