This is the eleventh block in the Mysteries Down Under quilt.
To make this block we’ll learn a foundation piecing technique that uses freezer paper.
Download, print the template and trace just one piece onto freezer paper.
The freezer paper is reusable because you don’t need to stitch through the paper. And removing the paper is a breeze! I hope you enjoy this technique.
For regular paper piecing you’ll have to use all four pieces in the template.

I love your Youtube tutorials, because they are so easy to follow. This pattern with an all white background is called Hummingbird, though I couldn’t tell you why, and it is my favorite. So there seems to be no margin of ¼” to join the block to another, or am I stupid and seeing wrong? It is such a cute block, love it! Cheery bye Tina

Tina, the templates include a 1/4” seam. It’s a very thin line though.
