There’re many ways to quilt-as-you-go. This is one of them. It’s also a block to use all those fabric scraps left over from other projects.

  1. Teresa, Any chance that you have done a tutorial on making a clamshell quilt? I’m trying to figure out how to put the uppermost row ‘partially’ together, as it will be trimmed away in the final stage. It just seems like there would be a way to cut just the lower portion of the clamshell, stitch upward a tad bit, then be able to attach the next row. AND I see people sewing the next row on left to right and right to left, some put the concave on top, some put the convex on top. I realize it becomes a personal preference, but I’ve watched your YouTube videos and I can understand your methods. So, if you have done a video, point me in the right direction and I’ll go view it. Thanks for all that you share with us. Luann
