  1. You continue to have the best ideas ever!! How do you decide on the fabrics for each one? I have lots of scraps to use up and am wondering if I could make it scrappy as long as I keep a light fabric in there to separate the darker ones, or would I loose the effect that is in the beauty of yours? Yours are all awesome by the way!! Jean

  2. Thank you Jean. You could do this block scrappy though if colours are very different you’ll have a different outcome. For best results try and use the same fabrics for individual blocks alternating dark and light colour strips of the same or very similar colours in both cases. Do a test and see what you get.

  4. This last tutorial is incrediable and amazing. I appreciate your work and videos so much. I made my first ever block using your tutorial. And I made a pinwheel block using your tutorial. So I am hooked. I used scissors and a 12 inch wood ruler, and scraps, and both blocks are darling pillows.

  6. Excellent video! Impressed with Claudine and her ruler & scissors. I’m not a “jelly roll” person, but I do a lot of “strips” and save the various pieces in my scrap container. This looks like fun and will make a couple of quick projects!

  7. You can buy jelly rolls just in white or in one single colour or in 3 fabrics, etc. But this tutorial is for 1 single block tha uses a jelly roll width strip.
